The C-BiLLT is developed by Dr Geytenbeek, Dr Oostrom and A/Prof Vermeulen.
is a Speech Pathologist with over 25 years of clinical and
research experience. In 2007, she obtained her Master degree in Speech,
Language and Hearing Research cum laude. She currently holds the position
of Clinical Researcher at the VU University Medical Centre, Amsterdam. Her
PhD involved developing and validating the Computer-Based Instrument for
Low Motor Language Testing (C-BiLLT) for Dutch speaking children with CP.
This instrument is the first standardised test to reliably measure spoken
language comprehension in children with severe CP. The C-BiLLT is currently
being implemented throughout the Netherlands and at this moment is already
used in 32 rehabilitation and 5 day care centres in the Netherlands.
is a Paediatric Neuropsychologist and Head of the Department of
Paediatric Psychology at the VU University Medical Center, Amsterdam. In
September 2015 she was appointed Head of the Psychosocial Department at
the Emma’s Children’s Hospital of the Academic Medical Center Amsterdam.
She has 18 years of clinical and research experience in the area of paediatric
neuropsychology. Amongst other collaborations, Dr Oostrom has co-led
development of the C-BiLLT.
A/Prof R.J. Vermeulen
is a Paediatric Neurologist at the Maastricht University
Medical Center (Netherlands) and Associate Professor in child neurology. He has established an international profile for his research, which is focused on understanding the early and late effects of neonatal brain damage. He has a special interest in the treatment of cerebral palsy and has co-led development of the Dutch CBiLLT.
